It’s that time of the year again when everybody in the retail technology business, including our Nordic ID team, gathers in New York for three full days of the experiencing the latest innovations in the industry. The world’s largest retail technology exhibition NRF is on during Jan 12-14 at the Javits Center.
Last year we revealed the Nordic ID Infokiosk and the Nordic ID Self-checkout at NRF. These retail solutions bring elements of online shopping to the brick and mortar in a very concrete way. This year our technology expertise can be experienced in different solutions for enhancing the in-store customer experience. Together with our partner Avery Dennison we showcase a digital signage solution for effortlessly providing customers with product information. When the customer needs additional information he/she puts the RFID-tagged item on the reading area, and the display shows product information. This “lift and learn” solution lets customers explore additional item information in an easy and fast way, when and where they want to.

NRF visitors also had the opportunity to check out RFID technology boosted interactive mirrors in our partner Pyramid Computer GmbH’s booth. This solution takes fitting rooms to the next level, enabling customers to call for assistance or getting additional product information in the fitting room by simply touching the mirror.
